Until we know better

Until we know better,
Until we’re grown up,
When we are older,
Not a mere pup.

When Hell freezes over,
I’ll put away toys,
I’ll make lots of mess,
An’ a hell of a noise.

Grow up,
Why, what for?
I like being this way,
It’s my life after all,
At the end of the day.

Keep trying,
Keeping playing,
Keep doing things new,
You never know what,
You’ll find you can do.

I like my child,
She’s mine to play with.
She’s inside me,
For that’s where she lives.

Until I know better,
When I’m all grown old,
I’ll still never listen,
Nor do as I’m told.
